\r\nUnderground they have extensive roots, including these large nodules.\r\nI don’t know which species this one is.\r\n<\/p>
\r\nYou can prepare Smilax roots as a starchy food, as native Americans did.\r\nThat’s a lot of work.\r\n\r\n\r\n<\/p>
