Now at 47, he&#8217;s a\r\nliving skeleton.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\nSchoolteacher Andrea Druetta lives in a town where it&#8217;s illegal to\r\nspray agrochemicals within 550 yards of homes, and yet soy is\r\nplanted just 33 yards from her back door. Recently, her boys were\r\nshowered in chemicals while swimming in their backyard pool.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\nSofia Gatica&#8217;s search for answers after losing her newborn to kidney\r\nfailure led to Argentina&#8217;s first criminal convictions for illegal\r\nspraying last year. But 80 percent of her neighbors&#8217; children\r\nsurveyed carry pesticides in their blood.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n<p>\r\nMeanwhile,\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.okraparadisefarms.com\/blog\/2012\/01\/glyphosate-found-in-all-samples-of-urine-many-times-drinking-water-limit.html\">\r\nGerman researchers found pesticides in all samples of urine<\/a>,\r\nand\r\nback in the U.S.A. and Canada,\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.okraparadisefarms.com\/blog\/2010\/06\/pesticides-in-children.html\">\r\nresearchers found pesticide metabolites in 95% of schoolchildren tested<\/a>.\r\n<p> \r\n90+% of cotton, soybeans, peanuts, and corn around here are\r\ndoused in agrochemicals, and even<!--more-->\r\n\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.okraparadisefarms.com\/blog\/2011\/11\/pesticide-spray-drift-finally-gets-legal-rebuf.html\">\r\n<img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:right;border:none;width:300px\" src=\"http:\/\/ucanr.org\/sites\/_http___ucanrorg_sites_KREC\/files\/42412display.jpg\"><\/a>\r\n pecans are sprayed. Licenses with GA\r\nEPD say sprayers aren&#8217;t supposed to drift, but\r\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.okraparadisefarms.com\/blog\/2011\/11\/pesticide-spray-drift-finally-gets-legal-rebuf.html\">\r\nit does<\/a>,\r\nand it can take all season\r\nfor EPD to get around to getting test results back, and somebody has to\r\ndemand they show up to test in the first place, after which they just\r\nwarn the first time, and the max fine is $1,000. Meanwhile, neighbors are\r\ndead at early ages from suspicious heart attacks and cancer.
