\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nCurrently there are over 55 garden sites located at afterschool\r\ncenters such as Boys and Girls Club’s in Lowndes and Brooks County,\r\nQUOLA, All 4 Kids Future; community outreach centers such as TEACH,\r\nR & H Missions, Childrens Advocacy Center; family and children’s\r\nliving facilities such as the Georgia Sheriffs Boys Ranch, the Pines\r\nFamily Campus, the Haven; churches such as King Solomon’s Missionary\r\nBaptist Church, Serenity Church, Newsome St., Church of Christ, and\r\nthe Lighthouse Christian Fellowship; and many, many individual’s\r\nbackyards.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n

\r\nEugene C. Godfrey, Sr. Minister\r\n

\r\n\r\n<\/a>\r\nBro. Eugene Godfrey was born in Naylor, Georgia to the late Brother\r\nLeroy A. Godfrey Sr. and Sister Eula C. Godfrey. He obeyed the\r\ngospel on July 29, 1962, under the preaching of Brother Dual Ghant.\r\nHis childhood and young adult life was spent worshipping and serving\r\nat Southside Church of Christ, Valdosta, Ga. He began preaching the\r\ngospel September 1972. Bro Godfrey, labored and served as Youth and\r\nAssociate Minister with Brother Harvey Jackson for about seven\r\nyears. In addition to this experience he continued this ministry\r\nwith Brother John W. Iverson, Sr. for another seven years. In\r\nSeptember of 1986, he was called by the brethren at Newsome Street\r\nChurch of Christ to come and serve as their pulpit minister. He\r\naccepted this request and has been a servant there for almost 24\r\nyears. Bro Godfrey, has been married to Vivian for almost 38\r\nconsecutive years. They have four children: LaCarra, Geneine, Joe,\r\nand KaTere, and have five wonderful grand children.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n
