\r\nVegetable Growers Workshop<\/h4>\r\n

This program will cover many aspects of how to grow your own\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\"300x388<\/a>\r\n\r\nvegetables for food and\/or profit. Whether you have never grown any\r\nvegetables before or you are a veteran and want to learn more about\r\ngrowing techniques this program is for you. We will cover a range of\r\ntopics including: how to select varieties and grow your own\r\ntransplants, understanding Georgia soils, planting and maintenance\r\nof vegetables, troubleshooting vegetable problems, equipment\r\nselection and maintenance tips for the vegetable grower, as well as\r\ntips on how to successfully sell and market your crop.\r\n

\r\nThis program\r\nwill provide several helpful handouts and includes lunch and break\r\nrefreshments. Bob Westerfield, Extension Horticulture Specialist\r\nwill be the program coordinator.\r\n

\r\n\r\nPesticide credit in both commercial\r\nand private category 21 will be offered.<\/strong>\r\n<\/p>\r\n\r\n
