I found this in some of the stuff John had in his Korea\nscrapbook.\n<\/blockquote>\nHere it is, yellowed and tattered:\n<p>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/98706376@N00\/4761556385\/in\/set-72157624422361750\/\">\n<img decoding=\"async\" border=0 src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4094\/4761556385_b4bcaf4f59.jpg\"><\/a>\n<p>\nJohn Feazell, who was principal at all three of Pine Grove Elementary,\nHahira Middle School, and Lowndes High School when I was there\n(I sometimes thought he was protectively following me around),\nhad a scrapbook of pictures and other material from his service\nin Korea as a Sergeant in the Army.\nHe had showed me this item some years ago.\nIt&#8217;s a propaganda flyer, one of many dropped by the North Koreans\non Allied troops.\n<p>\nIt reads:\n<blockquote>\nA FATHER&#8217;S MEMORIAL TO SON KILLED IN KOREA\n<p>\nA Savannnah, Ga., father has ordered this big boulder-type memorial to his\n19-year-old son who was killed in action in the fighting in Korea. It will\nbe placed on the edge of the highway between Blomingdale and Pooler,\nGa., U.S.A.\nTHE POLITICIANS ELECTED IN 1952 ARE JUST AS READY TO SEE YOU KILLED AS THOSE ELECTED IN 1948. THIS WAR IS SENSELESS!
