\nFortunately, there’s somebody already doing it:

\nWell, the CDC has gone further to say that
\nthose children born in the year 2000 could be the first generation
\nin our country’s history to die at a younger age than their parents,
\nand it’s because of what we feed them.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And who teaches us to feed them that?<\/p>\n

\nBig companies spent twenty billion dollars a year marketing
\nnon-nutrient foods to kids….
\nThey spent 500 dollars marketing foods kids shouldn’t eat
\nfor every one dollar marketing healthy nutritious food.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

She feeds school children in Berkeley.
\nYou might think that would be easy, but when she started,
\nit was just as bad as anywhere else:<\/p>\n

\n…extremo burritos, corn dogs, pizza pockets, grilled cheese sandwiches,
\neverything came in plastic, in cardboard, the only kitchen tools my
\nstaff had was a box cutter; the only working piece of equipment
\na can crusher.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So she set out to fix it,
\nand did.<\/a>
