The new leader of the pack:\r\nBlueberries, which are now the number one selling fruit crop in\r\nGeorgia.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\nGeorgia has more than 19,000 acres of blueberries. And about 12,000\r\nacres of peaches. The Mallory&#8217;s operate a blueberry farm in\r\nValdosta. So far this year they&#8217;ve sold about 1,200 gallons of\r\nblueberries worth more than $9,000 dollars.\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\nMallory&#8217;s Farm owner Shirley Mallory said<!--more--> &#8220;in the long run I think\r\nthey&#8217;re just easier to grow. They&#8217;re very good for you and that&#8217;s\r\nwhat, you know, makes people excited about blueberries because they\r\ndo have so many antioxidants in them.&#8221;\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\nMallory&#8217;s Farm owner Tony Mallory went on to say &#8220;I&#8217;ve sold the\r\nberries off of this farm to go exclusively to Japan for two years.&#8221;\r\n<\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n<p>\r\nThere&#8217;s more in the article.\r\nI suspect WCTV glossed over this part:\r\n<\/p>\r\n<blockquote>\r\n<p>\r\nThe Mallory&#8217;s no longer sell to Japan.
