Brown Dog often seems unclear on how to get in a boat:

Yellow Dog doesnt see the moccasin three feet in front of her

Shortly after she picked up the moccasin and threw it, the snake
swam right past her.

The cottomouth is actually visible in this picture,
at the other end of the stick Yellow Dog is sniffing.
Fortunately, she did not get seriously bitten this time.
Brown Dog helped her try to find the snake again, but they did not get it.
