Hey there, Fred. I just stumbled upon this link to my blog… Cool. Are you a regular reader? Anyways, I wanted to share that this canopy is somewhere along the Lowndes/Brooks/Colquitt county line. I love to go out and shoot stuff in the area from time to time. Where in South Georgia are you?

The wife and I live in northern Lowndes County, east of Hahira. Apparently we and you were all driving around in the same Hahira storm a week or two ago.
How cool is that… I live in northern Lowndes also… east of Hahira… small world. I am hosting CoCoRaHS training today at the SGRDC office in Valdosta at 6:30. Check out http://www.cocorahs.org for more info, but I think you might be interested… glad to see you posting now.

CoCoRaHS sounds interesting. I was busy out in the woods, and only read your comment today, so I missed it.

Meanwhile, the county wants to cut down our canopy road. They’re going to clear it Wednesday 12 November unless the county commission votes not to on Tuesday 11 November.

It Don’t Matter?
It Don’t Matter is the hole-in-the-wall lunch spot at Ga. 122 and Cat Creek Road frequented by various locals. It may be closing or moving soon.
Must not matter much at all… I have never heard of it… chased right by it once though.
