University of Georgia Horticulture Presents:
Vegetable Growers Workshop

This program will cover many aspects of how to grow your own 300x388 2015 Invitation, in Vegetable Growers Workshop, by UGA Horticulture, for OkraParadiseFarms.com, 30 January 2015 vegetables for food and/or profit. Whether you have never grown any vegetables before or you are a veteran and want to learn more about growing techniques this program is for you. We will cover a range of topics including: how to select varieties and grow your own transplants, understanding Georgia soils, planting and maintenance of vegetables, troubleshooting vegetable problems, equipment selection and maintenance tips for the vegetable grower, as well as tips on how to successfully sell and market your crop.

This program will provide several helpful handouts and includes lunch and break refreshments. Bob Westerfield, Extension Horticulture Specialist will be the program coordinator.

Pesticide credit in both commercial and private category 21 will be offered.
